関係筋によると、岸田総理が「中央アジア歴訪中止」を正式発表したことに伴い、8/10にカザフスタン・アスタナで予定されていた式典と、8/11にウズベキスタン・タシケントで予定されていたビジネスフォーラムなどの行事は、いずれも取りやめとなったことがわかった。
一方、今回の総理訪問には多くの日本企業がすでに同行し現地入りしていて、日本企業と現地企業の顔合わせや商談などは変わらず行う見通しだ。セレモニーやフォーラムといったイベントの形はなくなってしまったものの、実務的なビジネステーブルは設けられることになるため、新しいビジネスを生み出すチャンスとなると期待が寄せられている。
また、日本政府が各国と経済協力や人的交流、日本企業の現地進出支援などを強化する計画については、予定通り進められるものと見られている。

According to sources, Japan PM Kishida officially announced the cancellation of his visit to Central Asia, and the ceremony scheduled for August 10th in Astana, Kazakhstan, and the business event scheduled for August 11th in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, have been cancelled.
Meanwhile, many Japanese companies have already accompanied the delegation in Astana, and it is expected that business meetings between Japanese and local companies will continue. Although events such as ceremonies and forums will no longer be held, practical business tables will be set up, which is expected to provide an opportunity to generate new business.
Furthermore, the Japanese government's plans to strengthen economic cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and support for Japanese companies' expansion into the country are expected to proceed as planned.
